The 'Top Chef' star's little girl broke her elbow—but mom is to the rescue.
Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi has been lauded as much for her taste in clothes as for her taste in food. And based on this recent photo, her daughter shares her passion for style, too.
"#Littlefeet broke her little elbow." Padma captioned an Instagram pic of 4-year-old Krishna's fashionable studded black arm cast. "But we shall not sacrifice our glamour." She's right—check out the fashionable treatment she did to her daughter's cast.
It's likely this type of improvising in parenting is why her Top Chef co-star Gail Simmons recently called Padma a "great role model" for parents.
Krishna appears to have had an interest in fashion for some time now. In 2013, Padma told OK! magazine of her then-three-year-old, "My daughter has a very eccentric, flamboyant, whimsical, hyper-feminine style. She's like an Indian Cyndi Lauper!"
Following in Mom's footsteps, Padma's little girl is already somewhat of a trendsetter. One commenter on the photo wrote,"if I ever break another bone this is what I will be doing to my cast."
