Captain Kerry Titheradge's Girlfriend, Gönül, Makes Her Below Deck Debut Via FaceTime
Though Kerry does spend extended periods of time away from his home in Florida to work as a yacht captain, he makes sure to spend his free time calling his girlfriend and his kids.
In the preview clip above, Kerry FaceTimes Gönül while he's eating dinner — which marks her Below Deck debut. He tells her that it's important for them to be "making time for each other" throughout the day. While eating his meal, he jokes that when he's talking to his girlfriend, "everything tastes better."
As he shares in an interview on the episode, he has "an amazing woman in my life, her name is Gönül."
"She is from Turkey," he continues. "We've been together for three years, and, obviously, I adore her."
Captain Kerry Details His Plans to Propose to His Girlfriend, Gönül
After three years of dating, Kerry is looking to take the next step in his relationship with Gönül.
"I would like to ask her mother for her hand in marriage," Kerry says on the episode. "And the way I'm gonna do that is learn Turkish."
Kerry has already been practicing, as he calls Gönül a "beautiful girl" in Turkish on their Facetime call.
"I'm not a single captain," he adds in an interview. "I'm sorry, ladies."
During a recent exclusive chat with The Daily Dish, Kerry talked about his relationship with Gönül.
"I think her hearing's getting worse and her eyesight's getting bad," he kidded. "Because she still thinks I'm beautiful, and she wants to be with [me]."
