Henry on Scott Baio’s Political Beliefs

Scott Baio has grabbed headlines for his political beliefs over the past few years, which has been an interesting experience for many TV lovers to witness since they know and love him as the wise-cracking teen Chachi from Happy Days.

How to Watch

Tune in to WWHL on Bravo Sunday through Thursday and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Since Baio and his Happy Days co-stars will forever be one big happy family to us, we're obviously curious to know what they think about who he's grown up to be. One fan asked Henry Winkler if he's spoken to Baio recently and what he thinks of his outspokenness when it comes to politics when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Thursday. "So I spoke to him maybe a year ago. He came into my life when he was 12, 11 or 12. He is a member of our family," Winkler, who immortalized the character of Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli" for 11 seasons on Happy Days. "I completely disagree with his politics. And I will not say anything, I will not criticize him because that, he truly believes it, and he is my son."

Winkler's response left Andy Cohen feeling touched and, we're not going to lie, our hearts are pretty warmed, too. Turns out The Fonz, we mean Winkler, is exactly as cool as we thought.
