Scheana Shay's Music Video with Brett Caprioni Was Even Steamier Than We Saw on TV
Now we know what all of the fuss was about on Vanderpump Rules.
Scheana Shay's music video for her new single "One More Time" caused a stir on Vanderpump Rules, and now we see what all of the fuss is about.
Scheana dropped the visual for her sexy new track on May 4, and it is just as steamy as we imagined. Yes, there are plenty of those sultry moments between Scheana and Brett Caprioni in bed that we heard about during the Mary 5 episode of Vanderpump Rules, but there are even more flirty scenes with the two in the finished product as they go for a swim in the pool.
Other highlights from the video include Scheana busting a move in a hot leather number while backed by a couple of dancers, as well as looking glam with her high pony on point in a nude and black outfit. She even rides away on a motorcycle with yet another hunk.
As you can see, the video turned out amazing, but it wasn't without controversy. Scheana got into some drama with Brett at Kristen Doute's James Mae event after he expressed that he felt uncomfortable filming the video at times. He also said that he didn't want the intimacy they were portraying onscreen to give Scheana the wrong idea that there was something romantic between them.
That was all news to Scheana, who explained during the Vanderpump Rules Season 8 After Show that she made sure that Brett was well aware of what he was getting himself into by agreeing to appear in her music video. "I sent him my song. He knew it was literally about f--king someone one last time and then moving on, that we were shooting in my bedroom in my house in Palm Springs," Scheana said in the above clip. "He knew the concept."
Brett clarified during the After Show that he did know what the music video was about. "I know the video is called 'One More Time,' it's about having sex one more time after you already have it," he said. "So of course I was gonna try to give her the best acting."
However, his true intentions in expressing his concerns to Scheana ended up getting "misunderstood and misconstrued," he claimed, explaining that he wanted to encourage her to take a "less is more" approach to the video, which has worked for him in filming videos for YouTube in the past.
"For her, I didn't want her to push out this idea that she's some girl that loves sex and needs it from every guy, because, again, that's tying to the boy crazy rhetoric that she gets. So, for me, it was frustrating because I wanted this video to be so successful for her. And when we were doing it, I'm like, all right, it's just raunchy, in a way. I almost wanted her to tease me more," Brett said during the After Show. "I kind of came from that type of place, like a concerned, 'Oh, we could make this so dope,' but what we're doing now, I think it's just gonna make people go, 'Oh, Scheana's back at it again. This is cringey.'"
