Ryan Serhant Reveals How He Picked the Perfect Ring
The #MDLNY star explains the detailed process in finding the perfect bling.
Ryan Serhant didn’t just plan any plain proposal. The Million Dollar Listing New York star shut down all of Times Square for the special moment. So it should come as no surprise that when it came time to pick a ring for his bride-to-be, it wasn’t just any old ring.
Now Ryan is sharing the secret to finding the perfect ring with his fans. “A lot of people have been asking me where I got the ring for @emilia_bechrakis so I will tell you!” he writes on Instagram. “I worked with custom Jewler @desnemati for 8 months. I would go to her office once per week and look at stones.”
”I probably went through 300 stones before I found the one with the right cut, color and carat. I think I drove Des completely insane, but she stuck with me,” he continues. “Emilia probably would have been happy with a ring from a vending machine but I wanted something that she would wear happily for the rest of her life, and every time it glimmered in the sunlight she would think about that morning, Times Square, the orchestra, the NASDAQ sign, my shaking hands, and smile.”
