The RHOSLC cast member shared new details about her work at the Sundance Film Festival and gave a look inside the epic affair.
The “Queen of Sundance” is back!
Since Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Lisa Barlow has offered fans glimpses into her growing business empire, which includes several entities — one being LUXE marketing. This company is the hub for various businesses and assists in organizing events for other brands, such as the Sundance Film Festival.
And on the Season 4 premiere of RHOSLC, which aired on September 5, viewers got to see the snowflake holder in action at the 2023 festival as she made some major boss moves to ensure the 10-day event ran as smoothly as possible. Read on for details.
Lisa Barlow’s Work at Sundance Film Festival
“There’s a reason they call me the Sundance queen,” Lisa expressed confidently in her interview. “Not many people can throw these huge parties on such a short timeline and execute them to perfection like I do.”
During the episode, Lisa was in full boss mode as she took command of the room to direct her staff in transforming a venue for an event. Thanks to Lisa’s guidance, her team was able to accomplish the task at hand, flipping the space into an elegantly themed setup.
The RHOSLC entrepreneur shared how long she’s been working with Sundance to help bring the extravaganza to life, saying, “I have been doing Sundance for 14 years.”
Sure, it may seem like a glamorous job considering the number of parties held throughout the festival, but Lisa explains that it can be exhausting at times. Ultimately, though, she doesn’t let it get the best of her.
“During Sundance, you hustle and it’s no sleep for like five days,” she admitted in a confessional before clarifying that she “love[s] it.”

According to her official bio for RHOSLC Season 4, Lisa’s lifestyle doesn’t sit well with some of the ladies, “leading to a confrontation with the newest Housewife, Monica [Garcia].”
