Jen Shah Begins Prison Sentence
Jen Shah was previously sentenced to 6.5 years in prison back in January and reported to prison on February 17.
Jen Shah reported for her prison sentence on February 17. She will serve out her sentence in Bryan, Texas, where she reported to on Friday, according to E! News.
In January, Shah was sentenced to 78 months (6.5 years) in prison after she pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud back in July 2022, according to NBC News. NBC News also reported at the time that Shah, who previously appeared on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, will be subject to five years of supervised release once she gets out.
On Friday, Shah’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, said in a statement to NBC News that she is ready "to make restitution to those whose lives she has impacted." She added in the statement, "Jen Shah’s resolve to make her victims whole and to turn her life around is unyielding. She is committed to serving her sentence with courage and purpose, fueled by her desire to make amends for the hurt she has caused and to help others in her new community.”
