Angie H. Wanted to Be “Included” on the Season 3 Cast Trip but Did This Instead
She opened up about missing the San Diego getaway on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast ventured to San Diego on the November 30 episode, but Angie Harrington was not in attendance.
“It made me feel bad,” she said on the RHOSLC After Show. “It’s like that seventh-grade self where you’re like, ‘Ah, I didn’t get invited. All the cool girls are going on this trip and I’m not going.’ But at the same time, I don’t want to go somewhere I’m not wanted. Like, how awkward is that?”
Whitney Rose explained that she could’ve brought Angie as her guest, but ultimately decided not to because of Angie’s recent drama with both Jen Shah and Lisa Barlow. “I’m choosing to be friends with Lisa, and in that moment, I chose to have Jen’s back,” Whitney said. “Because Angie’s shown me now, at this point, enough times that I can have fun with her and she can be my distant friend and we can have a good time, but I’m not close enough and I don’t trust her.”
Heather Gay is close with Angie, but she didn’t want to invite her, either. “I’m not stupid and I’m nobody’s fool,” she said on the After Show. “I wouldn’t do that to Angie, and I wouldn’t do that to Jen.”
Angie didn’t hold it against Heather, though. As she put it, “I know Heather was in a tough spot because she felt the pressure to just invite me. She was so conflicted.”
And while Angie did “want to be included,” everything worked out in the end. “I went to the Masters with my husband,” she said. “And it was amazing. Sometimes it’s nice to just be away with your husband, looking at Tiger Woods.”
