Andy Cohen previously teased plans for The Real Housewives of New York City reunion to film in person with the cast and with many protocols in place. And now that the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host is ready to break down all of the drama with the RHONY cast, it has some other Bravolebs in their feelings.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

On August 5, Andy wrote on Instagram, "About to shoot our IN PERSON RHONY Reunion!! Putting on a suit and tie never felt so good.... Gonna be a great day!"

It prompted The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Rinna to comment: "I must say I’m jealous Re In person reunion Which I never thought I’d say."

Shahs of Sunset's Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi mirrored that sentiment, writing, "I'm soooo jealous! Then again, I wouldn't have been able to eat potato salad while filming like I did on our virtual reunion."

This marks the first reunion filmed in person since the pandemic. Reunions moved to remote filming due to social distancing amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Recent remote reunions include Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 reunionThe Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 reunion, the Summer House Season 4 reunion, the Shahs of Sunset Season 8 reunion and the upcoming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 10 reunion.

Last week, on Radio Andy, he explained the process for how the RHONY reunion planned to shoot in person to make sure it's safe.

"There are a lot of protocols. Everybody has to get tested [for COVID-19]. There's very few crew; there's very few people allowed. We’re all six feet apart. I don't think raising voices is going to be a concern because with that group. Hopefully this is gonna go well," he said. "This is very exciting to me. No, it's not an outdoor venue, but it is definitely a spaced-out venue."
