Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita Have Officially Reunited
The former castmates on The Real Housewives of New Jersey were joined by their husbands during their five-hour (!) lunch.
The years-long rift between The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita may be coming to an end.
Teresa took to Instagram on Saturday, February 11, to share a photo of herself and Jacqueline as they caught up over a meal at Cipriani Las Vegas. “[Five] hour lunch! Lots to talk about. Lots of laughs too!” Teresa captioned the post. “Reunited and it feels so good!”
Jacqueline currently resides in Las Vegas with her husband, Chris Laurita, who, along with Teresa’s husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, joined the pair for lunch. Louie even posted a couple of snapshots with Chris on Instagram, writing, “This weekend I got a chance to meet this amazing guy.”
As fans may recall, Jacqueline last appeared on RHONJ during Season 7. Tensions between her and former BFF Teresa reached an all-time high and their relationship has been strained ever since.
That was, until Teresa made a confession last month on her Namaste B$tches podcast. Reflecting on her falling-out with Jacqueline, Teresa admitted she was heartbroken over the end of their friendship, describing it as a “friends divorce.”
“We were real, real friends before the show,” she said of Jacqueline. “I wish Jacqueline and her family nothing but the best, but what happened [between us] really devastated me.”
Teresa shared a similar sentiment during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last February after being asked where things stood between her and Jacqueline. Explaining that she was embracing the practice of “forgive and move on,” Teresa said she would be open to the idea of making amends with Jacqueline.
Prior to that and during another WWHL appearance, Teresa said of Jacqueline, “Listen, she was my best friend. And that was really traumatic for me. It really was. I felt betrayed… But I’m over that now. It’s been so many years.”
