Tamra Judge Opens up About Her “Rocky” Past With New RHOC ‘Wife Jennifer Pedranti

June is heating up to be an epic month for Bravoholics everywhere, thanks to the Season 17 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County. In the new season, returning ‘Wives Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson will welcome back Tamra Judge to the group, along with new ‘Wife Jennifer Pedranti.
According to Jennifer’s bio, she’s a yoga studio owner and is introduced into the OC crew by Tamra. So, how exactly does the yogi and fitness maven know each other? Well, it turns out that the two castmates are actually “neighbor[s].”
In the clip above, the RHOC ladies sat down with BravoTV.com to explain their opinions of Jennifer and share what it’s like having her around.
Tamra and Gina Explain Their Connection to Jennifer
Gina begins the conversation by sharing how a few orange holders already knew the RHOC newbie. “There’s real history, real friendship, and real drama that comes with Jennifer,” she explains what it's like to have Jennifer join in Season 17. Gina goes on to share how “happy” she is that Jennifer is a part of the group and reveals what she adds to the show. To hear what she says, watch the video above.
When it was time for Tamra to share weigh-in on Jennifer, the RHOC alum opened up about how they met at “Cut Fitness.” Tamra even admits the two had a “rocky” past and hints at their friendship dynamics in the upcoming season.
Shannon and Emily’s Thoughts on Jennifer
As for Shannon and Emily’s initial takes on Jennifer joining them this season, the duo’s responses couldn’t be far from different. Shannon compared Jennifer to an “onion” because she has so many “layers” to peel, while Emily thinks she’s “very strong” and “sweet.”
A new housewife isn’t the only big takeaway from Season 17. Fans will also get to see The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Taylor Armstrong, who will be joining the show as a friend. Plus, there will be a surprise cameo from RHOC alum: Vicki Gunvalson.
