Tamra Judge Calls This Bravolebrity Her "Bestie for Life"
The RHOC cast member opened up about her deep connection with a fellow Bravo blonde. Find out who it is.
Tamra Judge may be a cast member on The Real Housewives of Orange County and she makes up one third of the Tres Amigas along with Shannon Storms Beador and Vicki Gunvalson — but her Bravo "bestie" is actually from another Real Housewives show.
The orange holder took to Instagram on July 2 to wish The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp a happy birthday, and she revealed an update on their friendship along the way.
Tamra Judge Calls Teddi Mellencamp Her Best Friend
Tamra, who returned to RHOC for Season 17 after a two season break, first met Teddi at a church in Mission Viejo, California back in 2018. The two gushed about each other after their first in-person meeting, and they even referred to one another as "beautiful." The Bravolebrities began co-hosting a podcast together in 2021, and they've been the best of friends ever since.
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum posted a video montage of moments with Teddi on her Instagram page in honor of the fitness influencer's 42nd birthday on Sunday, July 2.
"You had me at, 'Can you talk?'" Tamra wrote in the caption of her post, which showcased them posing on the BravoCon 2022 red carpet together. The video also featured footage of the pair rocking coordinated blazer outfits and bikinis. "Happy birthday to my bestie for life."
Teddi responded to the sweet post in the comments.
"Haha," she wrote underneath the post. "Love Tam."
Teddi's Husband, Edwin Arroyave, Also Paid Tribute
Tamra wasn't the only loved one of Teddi's to celebrate the RHOBH alum's special day. Her husband of nearly 12 years, Edwin Arroyave, shared a photo and video of Teddi celebrating with their three kids, Slate, Cruz, and Dove (Edwin's daughter, Isabella aka Bella, wasn't there, though he noted that she's always with them "in spirit").
"Today marks another year our lives are blessed because [Teddi Mellencamp] was born," he wrote in the caption. "Another year of you making us laugh. Another year of you filling us with love. Another single day of me accepting that you are right about everything... You don’t just get better each year; you make us better each year. I love you, Mama. Hope it’s the happiest birthday yet..."
What Teddi Mellencamp's Been Up to Lately
Just a few weeks before her birthday, Teddi celebrated a major milestone for her stepdaughter, Bella. The teen graduated from junior high, and she was the valedictorian of her class.
"I woke up this morning needing to pinch myself that yesterday happened. The pride, love and joy all of us have for you is above and beyond. Not only did you graduate from 8th grade as valedictorian — you have made everyone in this picture better people," Teddi wrote on Instagram on June 15. "The way you are able to make everyone feel special and included is a true gift. Please never forget all of the incredible things you are capable of; you are one of a kind, Bella. We will always be here, rooting you on. We love you — thank you for being you."
In May, Teddi also shared a health update following yet another melanoma scare.
"You'd think after 11 melanomas, I'd be used to this,” she wrote. "Unfortunately, you cannot control anxiety. And last night I had the worst panic attack. I am trying my best this morning to push through it, but it is not easy. Prayer, mediation, movement — all the usual things I lean on to combat the anxiety — I am hoping they at least can allow me to get through the day."
The spot ended up being benign, and Teddi later opened up about how she was in a "completely different mindset" as a result of the news.
