Denise Richards Shares Updates on Her Husband, Daughter, and the Newest Member of Her Family
The RHOBH alum gushed about her new “little buttercup” and revealed where things stand with her eldest daughter now.
Denise Richards is in “love” with the surprise she got in her Easter basket.
Less than four months after sharing the heartbreaking news that her 15-year-old Chihuahua, George, had passed away, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has welcomed a new pup into her family thanks to her daughter, Sami Sheen.
“Happy Easter!!!” Denise wrote on Instagram on April 9. Her caption accompanied a few photos of her holding her newest family member, a French bulldog. “My daughter brought a surprise [and] adopted this lil one for me. His name is Maverick after Tommy Cruise in [Top Gun] obviously. He’s a little buttercup [and] we love him already. Have a wonderful Easter.”
Denise tagged Sami in the post, confirming that the 19-year-old was the one who facilitated the adoption. (Denise and her ex-husband Charlie Sheen also share daughter Lola Sheen, and she adopted a daughter, Eloise Richards, on her own.)
Sami commented on the post, writing, “You’re so pretty[,] mom,” and Denise responded by thanking the teen for the compliment and for getting the pet she already adores. “I love him so[,] so much,” Denise added.
Several ladies from RHOBH gushed about Denise’s dog in the comments.
“Stop it right now!!!!!!” her pal Sutton Stracke wrote, along with several red heart emojis. Camille Grammer Meyer then called Maverick “adorable” in her own comment.
Maverick’s adoption isn’t the only exciting life update Denise has shared lately. Just a few weeks after she went canoeing in Hawaii with her other pups and her husband, Aaron Phypers, Denise shared heartfelt birthday posts for Sami and for her spouse.
“Happy Birthday my beautiful Sami girl! I love you so much [and] I am so proud of you and your heart is even more gorgeous. I love you so much,” Denise wrote in the caption of a post featuring a selfie of her eldest on March 9. “Happy 19th Birthday!!!! I love you.”
Ten days later, Denise posted a tribute to her “incredible” husband of over four years.
“Happy Birthday to my amazing incredible hubby! Every [day] is a dream with you,” she wrote on March 19, along with several photos of the couple together over the years. “I love you so much and can’t wait to spend a lifetime of birthdays together.”
Based on her recent Instagram activity, it looks like the Wild Things actress has plenty to celebrate these days.
