No #CHill Here Because We Have All the Details on Cynthia Bailey’s Engagement to Mike Hill
Here's exactly how the sportscaster asked the RHOA entrepreneur to marry him.
No #CHill here! When Mike Hill asked Cynthia Bailey to marry him last Friday (July 26), it was quite the family affair. The sportscaster made sure to include all their kids when he popped the question to the The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur.
According to PEOPLE, the proposal took place at the grand opening of her new business, The Bailey Wine Cellar, in front of her 19-year-old daughter, Noelle Robinson, as well as his two daughters, Kayla, 17, and Ashlee, 19, in addition to their other friends, like members of the RHOA crew, and family.
As it turns out, Mike made his proposal appear like he was giving a speech in Cynthia's honor when his daughter, Kayla, interrupted and handed him a bottle with a question mark on it. From there, Noelle then handed him a ring box — and he then got down on one knee. Next up, the three girls held up a sign that read, “Can we be a family?” And we think you can figure out the rest since, well, they are engaged now. Oh, and, he asked her to marry him with a 5 carat princess cut solitaire ring.
"When it’s right you just know it!! Thanks for all the love and well wishes," Mike shared on Instagram after the world learned of their adorable proposal.
Cynthia and Mike, who is a Los Angeles-based Fox Sports 1 host, have been dating for 14 months after first meeting on Steve Harvey's talk show in April 2018. This will be the second marriage for each of them. Cynthia was previously married to Peter Thomas, whom RHOA fans saw her wed in Season 3, from 2010 to 2017. Noelle is her daughter from a previous relationship with Leon Robinson.
Cynthia also thanked fans for the support, sharing on Instagram, "Thank [you for] all the love [and] well wishes."
