ICYMI, Here Are the Details on Reza Farahan’s Wild Halloween Party Look
The Shahs of Sunset cast member rocked an eye-catching crochet onesie.
Reza Farahan certainly knows how to pull off a bold outfit. The Shahs of Sunset cast member stole the show with his wild Halloween party look during the June 20 episode of the series, rocking a bright orange, yellow, and brown crochet onesie.
The eye-catching ensemble, featuring shades of ochre and cream in a lightning zig-zag pattern, was designed by Lord von Schmitt and specifically created as a nod to Reza’s love of ‘70s fashion.
“Reza left a hilarious message on my answering machine asking me for a crochet outfit with 1970's colors because that's his 'jam,'" Lord von Schmitt designer, tailor, and photographer Schuyler Ellers previously told The Daily Dish via email.
As Schuyler explained, the piece isn’t just inspired by the ‘70s, it also includes authentic textiles from the fashionable decade.
"Crochet onesies are a humorous throwback to disco-era dance floors, but they are also timeless, sustainable garments made from recycled materials," he said. "All of my garments start out as pieces of original American folk art, crocheted by hand in the 1970s and '80s. I discovered these textiles have amazing potential to stretch, to be lightweight and comfortable, and to get a lot of attention everywhere you go."
To complete his outrageous look, Reza topped off the colorful onesie with a curly wig accented with a floral ribbon headband and gold jewelry. Get a closer look at his vibrant outfit, below and in the video above:
