Carole Radziwill Weighs In on Luann de Lesseps' Arrest and How She's Changed
The Real Housewives of New York City pal admitted that she was surprised at how Luann handled the incident.
Though she's since found her Zen, the past year presented its share of tough moments for Luann de Lesseps. In December, the cabaret singer was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, following a boozy night out. And though the incident was certainly jarring, Luann has made lemonade out of the sour situation.
On a recent episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Luann spoke to Dorinda Medley from rehab. "I'm not proud of what happened; that's for sure," Luann told her friend. "But I'm learning a lot about myself. I found the right place to be, to take care of myself."
The singer's friends also notice that the arrest had, perhaps, a silver lining. On her blog, Carole Radziwill weighed in on the incident, and how it has impacted Luann.
"There were so many ways Luann could have played this — and she played it well. Luann and I have had disagreements, but they all came from her ability to move on without acknowledging consequences. But her return from rehab marked a very different person — one who is taking a self-inventory. It’s an important lesson for all of us. Everyone is rooting for Luann," she concluded.
On June 13, Carole appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and spoke again about the arrest. See what she had to say in the clip above.
