What Does The Real Housewives of D.C. Cast Think of The Real Housewives of Potomac?
The #RHODC 'Wives' reaction to #RHOP may surprise you.
When The Real Housewives of Potomac was announced, many wondered why the newest member of The Real Housewives franchise would be set so close to where The Real Housewives of D.C. took place. "It was just this group of women. It was this group of women. They just popped. They're stars and they're great," Andy Cohen explained shortly after the announcement of RHOP. "So we didn't go out saying, 'Oh we want to do another Housewives in the D.C. area.' It was the last thing on our minds, trust me. But then these women emerged, and it was like, they were great. I'm loving that show, and you will, too."
Still, it's natural to wonder what the cast of RHODC, which ran for one season in 2010, thinks about this new series that hits so close to home. Cast members Mary Amons and Lynda Erkiletian got together to watch and live tweet the series premiere together, and though Mary said "been there, done that" about the show in this video posted on Instagram before the first episode aired, the ladies seem to be digging RHOP overall.
There are even some early standouts among the RHOP cast for Mary.
Though the usually outspoken Catherine "Cat" Ommaney didn't watch the RHOP premiere, she still had kind words to say about the new show.
RHODC's other two cast members Stacie Scott Turner and Michaele Schon, who had the last name Salahi while on the show, do not appear to have publicly commented on RHOP series premiere just yet, but hopefully they love it as much as their castmates.
