Yolanda Hadid "Couldn’t Be More Excited to Start a New Decade" After "Turbulent Life"
The RHOBH alum also confirmed she's in remission and has "much gratitude for the everyday gift of life."
The 2010s were quite a wild ride for Yolanda Hadid.
To recap, briefly: she not only shared her life during her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but she also married and divorced David Foster, saw her three kids become supermodels, struggled with Lyme disease, moved to a farm, lost her mom, and found love again with Joseph Jingoli.
And now the RHOBH alum is ready for whatever life has in store for her next.
"HAPPY 2020 everyone... I couldn’t be more excited to start a new decade because the last one wasn’t that smooth for me, although blessed in many ways my health struggles just blocked me from really thriving. As I grow older and wiser, I really start to see the magic of life and the incidences that lead us exactly to where we need to be," she shared on Instagram. "I learned these past couple of years what I really need and what I needed to leave behind. Often there are situations in our lives that come to teach us but aren’t meant to stay. Sometimes the changes we don’t want are the painful changes we most need to grow."
The former model and Lyme disease advocate spent the holidays with her three kids with ex-husband Mohamed Hadid, Bella, Gigi, and Anwar, and is now ready to take on the new year after all the ups and downs of the last 10 years and thrive.
"I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today if it wasn’t for this turbulent life and painful decade of life lessons. I relentlessly fought my way to remission and have much gratitude for the everyday gift of life!! I’m excited to take on the next decade with a big smile on my face and a heart full of love knowing I’m being guided. Today is the first blank page of our own brand new 365-page book," she wrote. "I’m planning to write an incredible one and hope you will do too. Wishing you a happy, healthy and successful new year. Much love and a big hug, Yolanda."
