Rachel Fuda Just Gave Her Hair a "Fresh" Update: "It's Giving '90s Mom" (PHOTO)
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom showed off a new hair look that left us ready to head to the salon.
Rachel Fuda is getting a "fresh" start.
On October 23, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom hopped on her Instagram Stories to reveal a new hairstyle: a layered look that fell just below her shoulders. "Fresh Color & Blow Out," Rachel wrote over the photo, also adding, "It's giving '90s mom energy and I'm here for it."
The style indeed gave us all the '90s vibes, with what appeared to be some layered pieces and some volume in the front with those face-framing pieces flipping outward. While we couldn't tell in this light the details of Rachel's color, it appears she opted for a slightly lighter brunette compared to the deep, raven-colored locks she wore throughout RHONJ Season 14.
As you can see in the images below taken on August 11, Rachel used to rock a darker color and longer length. “Her hair is so big, because it’s full of secrets!” she joked in the caption of the Instagram post, referencing a now-iconic line from the 2003 film Mean Girls.
Rachel Fuda's Veneers
In addition to updating her hair (and trying on an iridescent-like "9D" manicure earlier this year), Rachel has also tried out a few other beauty moves in her time, including getting veneers.
After receiving some “questions about [her] veneers" in February 2023, Rachel hopped on her Instagram Stories to address follower inquiries, showing before-and-after photos of her teeth. The mom of two noted that having veneers "definitely feels different but not in an uncomfortable way" and that the surface of her teeth is "way smoother" now.
Rachel explained she was "absolutely petrified" of having her teeth shaved down, but looking back, however, it "did not hurt at all."
She also responded to a follower about being nervous about not getting her former teeth back. "Totally, but I did Clear Correct for [four] years and was just never happy,” she wrote. “I knew it was the shape of my teeth and the hollowness in my smile.”
Rachel also explained why she had the procedure done at Smile Texas in Houston versus going somewhere in New Jersey. “It wasn’t about the pricing… After speaking with the staff I just felt so comfortable[.] [They’re] all incredibly sweet and professional.” Although she didn’t reveal how much her specific veneers cost, Rachel noted that the cost for “upper ten” can be “$21,500 and up,” while “upper and lower combined” can be “$41,000 and up.”
