ICYMI, Prince Once Shaded Kim Kardashian in Concert

As the world continues to mourn the late, great icon Prince, who died unexpectedly on April 21 at his Minnesota compound Paisley Park, some of his most memorable career moments are being remembered. From the multitude of awards he won, to the millions upon millions of records he sold, to the way he forever altered the sound of pop music as we know it, Prince was definitely a one-of-a-kind artist and person. And to further prove his greatness, back on Feb. 7, 2011, he kicked Kim Kardashian off the stage because he was having none of her antics (or, lack of rhythm). 

During a gig at Madison Square Garden, Prince invited the reality starlet on stage to dance with him. When she proved reluctant to flaunt her moves (in what just might be a rare, shy moment from the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star), Prince ejected Kim from the stage. "Get off the stage," he told her, before looking for his next potential dance partner. The full moment is below, and is truly spectacular.

Kim later opened up about the incident on an episode of KUWTK later that year. "It is so embarrassing when Ryan [Seacrest] brings up the YouTube video of me not dancing on stage with Prince. I swear I'm never going to dance again. This is going to haunt me forever," she said, later adding that she was "so nervous" when Prince asked her to come up on stage with him and she considers herself not a great dancer. 

UPDATE: Kim later remembered Prince and the moment on Instagram, writing, "I will always remember this moment with one of my favorite artists! I was so star struck I froze! RIP Prince."
