Porsha Williams Reveals Her "No. 1 TV Moment Ever in Life"
Porsha Williams also talked about her favorite trip on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and an episode she called "very touching."
Porsha Williams has experienced quite the evolution over the course of eight seasons on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
When fans first met her, she was married to Kordell Stewart before they ultimately split. She's since launched a career in radio, fallen in and out of love with guys, and, in Season 12 of RHOA, hit her stride and found her happily ever after in her home life as a mom to Pilar Jhena McKinley, her first child with fiancé Dennis McKinley. Even though her relationship with Dennis has weathered some ups and downs, Porsha has always proved herself to be resilient in the face of all kinds of challenges.
When The Daily Dish recently spoke to Porsha, who joined the series in season 5, we had her reveal her top five favorite moments from her time on RHOA. "Oh OK, so any episode period? Well, selfishly they all have to do with me," she said. "Obviously, right?"
Season 12
"There is an episode in this season where I did an event for the March of Dimes where they announce me as their grand ambassador. And it was just really special because the March of Dimes is about being very supportive to mothers through their journey through getting pregnant and through pregnancy and after. And so a lot of the women in the group just told their birth stories — just about them, how they struggle with getting pregnant. Or either when they got pregnant and how all that was for them, the support they got. And it was just a very, very touching scene. Very touching moment for me."
Season 11
"The other one would have to be when I gave birth to baby PJ because my spinoff was actually still a part of Housewives, so, I think that counts," she said, with a laugh. "The birth of PJ, is probably, that’s hands down my number one TV moment ever in life."
Season 11
"I think it was Destin and we played the [talent] game. That was so fun. It’s always a really, really high and really, really low [on those trips]. It leaves you with a big old question mark at the end of the trip. It’s like tune in again. Who are they gonna leave out of the country? That’s what you always want to know."
Season 11
"The other super, super special moment had to have been when I got engaged on national television. My whole life has been on TV. And it all has been amazing. Well, most of it."
Season 5
"In the earlier seasons that I really loved, I do enjoy our girls' trips. I enjoy our girls' trips. We were in Anguilla and we had a really fun time. I remember Anguilla being really fun."
