Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia Step Out for First Date “as Husband and Wife”
The RHOA alum chronicled her first night out as Simon’s wife and shared that the two have “many more to go.”
Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia have plenty to be thankful for, including their “first date night as husband and wife” following their two-day wedding celebration over Thanksgiving weekend.
Several days after they officially tied the knot (more on that later), The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and her businessman husband stepped out for their first official date as spouses. Porsha commemorated the special occasion on her Instagram feed.
“Mrs. Guobadia,” Porsha wrote in the caption of her first post, which featured three solo shots in front of a Christmas display. She added a crown emoji and a red heart emoji. “‘Y’all gone be sicka me’ lol.”
For her next date-night post, Porsha shared a picture taken with her new husband in the same location.
“[First] Date night as Husband [and] wife and many more to go,” The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3 cast member captioned the post, adding another red heart emoji. She also tagged her spouse’s Instagram handle.
Based on their date-night posts, Simon and Porsha aren’t dealing with any post-wedding(s) blues at the moment.
Just a few days before their debut outing as spouses, Porsha and Simon were married in a “Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony,” per People. The couple stood in front of 250 guests on Friday, November 25, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta for their first ceremony.
The duo, who became engaged in the spring of 2021 after just a few weeks of dating, kept the celebrations going with an American-style ceremony and reception the following day. For the second wedding, Porsha and Simon had a religious ceremony at a Methodist church, and they exchanged vows in front of around 350 guests.
Their guest list included many Bravolebrities and alums, including Kandi Burruss, Drew Sidora, Alexia Nepola, Marysol Patton, Monique Samuels, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Quad Webb, Gizelle Bryant, Monyetta Shaw, and Cynthia Bailey.
While fans will have to stay tuned to find out where the newlyweds are headed for their honeymoon, one thing is certain: The Guobadias know how to step out (and celebrate!) in style.
