Phaedra Parks Is Dating One of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Ladies' Exes
The RHOA alum is reportedly in a new relationship with actor Medina Islam.
This has been the year of love for Phaedra Parks. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum kicked off 2019 by introducing the world to her new boo, Chicago-based DJ Tone Kapone.
But since then, it looks like Phaedra and Tone have called it quits, and she has moved on to start a new relationship with a new special someone.
Phaedra revealed in a recent interview with DailyMailTV that she is "happy" and "excited" after finding love again with a "tall, dark and handsome" man. "I didn't date for four years and so I put my foot into the man pond I guess about nine months to a year ago," Phaedra told the outlet. "I dated a guy and that didn't quite work out and so I found another guy that's more suitable for me and I'm quite excited and happy about him."
Phaedra couldn't help but gush about her new man to DailyMailTV, and honestly, we can't blame her. "He's very smart, very intelligent. He's kind, we are both socially active. He's really sober and smart. He's a great father," she shared. "So I'm excited about it."
Though Phaedra didn't confirm her new love's identity to DailyMailTV, the publication reports that she is seeing actor Medina Islam, who also works in the tech industry as Urban Initiatives Director for block chain real estate firm Propy. DailyMail.com also captured several photos of Phaedra snuggling up to Medina and looking very couple-y out in public in Santa Monica, California.
Phaedra and Medina met online through the exclusive dating app Raya. "We've been in the same circles for some years, but he heard that I was on this dating site and he joined to meet me," she told DailyMailTV.
In fact, Medina even used to date another RHOA alum, Claudia Jordan, back in 2016.
Phaedra, who reportedly reached a divorce settlement with Apollo Nida in 2017, hasn't yet introduced her new boyfriend to her sons, Ayden, 9, and Dylan, 6, but she has a feeling he's going to be a big hit with at least one of her family members. "He is definitely the type of guy I want to take home to my mother though," Phaedra told DailyMailTV. "He's a great actor and he's on my mother's favorite TV show. And so she was thinking he was adorable as well. So it's sort of all worked out perfectly."
