Peter Thomas Shares an Update on His Coffeeshop
Cynthia's husband says her mother will be pitching in at the store.
Another day and another new hotspot for Peter Thomas and his Real Housewives of Atlanta wife Cynthia Bailey!
After launching his coffee line, Peter's Brew, in 2014, he's now one step closer to opening up his own coffee shop. And he's keeping the business in the family. "We're opening the first Peter's Brew Coffee Shop the end of next month, across from Bar One, on Auburn Ave," he tells the Daily Dish of the Atlanta-area spot. "When I'm in town, I'm there. I already gave a slot to Cynthia's mom. She'll be there at the coffee shop. That's going to be a job for her."
Peter is also looking to expand the brand even more once he gets the first store open. "I'm coming up with new flavors," he shares. "Within the week, we'll have all four flavors. But, yeah, we're going to have pastries, coffee."
The area is also the perfect spot for Peter to launch the store in thanks to the flurry of students in and around the "revitalized" area.
"I think it's a good gamble," he says. "My dream is to see 100 Peter's Brew coffee shops in the next three years. They're not expensive to put together. I could start distributing and retailing my own goods."
And with Cynthia's support, it seems more than possible. "We plan on it being a slam dunk," she adds.
As for his other endeavors, he shares that his establishment in Charlotte, North Carolina is finding its place in the community after opening up last summer. "Bar One is doing really great!" Peter says.
