“Single PK” Shocks Dorit with Declarations About Their Split: “Very Clear Now”
Paul "PK" Kemsley makes a "hurtful" declaration to Dorit about the status of their relationship in a new RHOBH preview.
In a preview of Season 14, Episode 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — set to air Tuesday, Nov. 26 — Paul "PK" Kemsley and Dorit Kemsley sit down for dinner, which takes a serious turn as he declares he's "single PK" now.
As part of his transformation into a bachelor, PK reveals he's even bought new clothes to show off his slimmer figure. All this comes as a surprise to Dorit, who was seemingly under the impression that their separation was only temporary — as in they're still husband and wife.
"I don't know if PK realizes that saying 'single PK' is as hurtful as it is," she says in a confessional. "And I don't really know how he goes from married and committed to separated and 'single PK' in 24, 48 hours. It feels like, whoa."
PK then explains that his sobriety has made him realize that his and Dorit's relationship is unhealthy, seemingly insinuating that their dynamic is what caused him to overindulge. "Drink is a symptom, not a cause," he says.
And now that he's sober, he's "very clear now why we've made our decision, why we've done what we've done."
As he explained to Mauricio Umansky on the Season 14 premiere, PK wants to take some time away from Dorit because they were fighting incessantly.
"Let me explain it to you this way," PK says to Dorit in the RHOBH preview. "You're my best friend and you're my wife and we don't speak to each other nicely. If the server came over and we spoke to the server how we speak to each other, we'd be thrown out of this restaurant."
Are Dorit and PK divorced?
As of November 2024, Dorit and PK have yet to file for divorce, though they're living apart as they navigate this new chapter in their lives.
According to Garcelle Beauvais and Kyle Richards, rumor has it that PK is living at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Are Dorit and PK on good terms?
Though PK's declaration that he's "single" was hurtful for Dorit, the couple seems to be on good terms as they co-parent their children Jagger and Phoenix.
"We can be doing things as a family. We're not in a toxic place," Dorit insisted when speaking to Kathy Hilton about their relationship in the Season 14 premiere.
Recently, the family of four came together to dress up as the Flinstones for Halloween, a "special" moment for Jagger, who was hospitalized for a "septic hip" in October.
