Paige DeSorbo is setting the record straight after rumors began to circulate regarding her recent split from Craig Conover

How to Watch

Watch Summer House on Bravo Wednesday, February 12 at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The Summer House-mate confirmed her split from the Southern Charm-er during the December 30 episode of her podcast, Giggly Squad. Though Paige noted on the podcast that there wasn't any infidelity or one major moment that led to the split, it didn't take long for fans to speculate that something bigger happened between the two Bravolebrities.

In one TikTok, a creator speculated that Paige ruined Craig's supposed proposal plans. The New York City resident clapped back in the comments section, writing, "I’m obsessed with all of this fan fiction."

In another video, a content creator alleged that there may have been a third party involved in the breakup.

"See you in court," Paige joked in the comments, referring to a phrase she and co-host Hannah Berner say often on their podcast.

In a third video, a different content creator expressed why she felt like Paige should have decided to settle down with the Charleston resident. "May friends like this never find me," the Summer House cast member replied.

A separate user posted a clip from Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper's New Year's Eve Live show, when the Watch What Happened Live with Andy Cohen host mentioned the split to actor Jon Hamm.

"Pour one out for Craig and Paige," the actor said. "My goodness, the end of an era. Jeez."

"I've been too stunned to speak," Paige cheekily wrote in a comment on the TikTok video.

Why did Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover break up?

After dating long-distance for three years, Paige and Craig recognized that they were moving in different life directions.

"What I did want to say is that Craig and I have decided to no longer be together," Paige explained on her and Hannah's podcast. "And I know I said I would never cry on the internet, but like it's OK if I cry on the pod[cast]. I feel like that's OK."

As mentioned, Paige said that there wasn't one major event that caused the breakup.

"It's weird, obviously it's weird. Like, it's very weird. I wasn't expecting this, obviously, when we first started dating, like you don't think, 'Oh, what's going to happen? Will we get married, will we not? You just kind of are in this relationship, and as you get older — I mean I started dating Craig when I was 29 and I'm 32 now," she continued. "And your thirties, for women, really are very transformative, and you change a lot and you grow a lot, and him as well. Not to sound traditional and old-fashioned, but this is not a situation where I have a 50-part series of like, 'Who the f--k was I dating?' Like, could not be more opposite."

Are Paige and Craig still friends after their split?

Though Craig and Paige are no longer together romantically, she said on her podcast she has hope that they will remain amicable.

"I love him. I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything, it wasn't like a bad thing. I think we both were being mature and just saying what we want and what we didn't want," she concluded on the matter. "And I think that's extremely powerful to be able to voice how you're feeling in real time and what you want for your future."
