Paige DeSorbo Slams Craig's Timeline for Having Kids: "I'm the One That Will Carry It"
Paige is sharing her honest thoughts after Craig Conover said he wants to have his "first child by 40."
On Summer House Season 8, Episode 11, as Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo discussed their future, the Southern Charm cast member declared, "I'm 35. I would like to have my first child by 40. I would start to have some resentment [if that didn't happen]." However, Paige explains in the video above, she isn't going to rush that decision.
"When Craig's ovaries come in, he can decide when he wants to have a baby," Paige says in the Summer House Season 8 After Show clip. "I love a timeline. I love when people are planning things out for their lives. [But] I think [having] babies is something that you really can't plan."
"Also, I'm the one that has to have it," she continues. "So, I love that he has a timeline, but we will compromise and go by my timeline for a baby because, again, I'm the one that will carry it for nine months, and my life and job will change, and literally nothing will change for him until the day I pop that kid out. And then, even then, it probably won't change for him. So, I love his timeline. I love his thought process. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it."

In addition to discussing their timeline for having children, Paige, who is based in New York City, and Craig, who resides in Charleston, often talk about where they will settle down together. Although Craig has made it clear he would like Paige to move to Charleston, Paige explains in the After Show video that he hasn't actually asked her to do so.
"If we went down to it, Craig's never asked me to move in with him," she says. "Craig's never asked me when I want to get engaged, so I kind of think about it in my own head, like, 'If he's not asking, then I'm going proceed with my personal timeline.' I'm not just gonna sit and wait and like, 'Yeah, whatever you want to do I'm going to go with the flow with.' I don't go with the flow."
