Paige DeSorbo Admits She Was Doing *This" Behind Craig Conover's Back for a Full Year
The Summer House cast member said her Southern Charm boyfriend eventually "caught on" to the hilarious scheme.
Paige DeSorbo pulled a sneaky stunt that improved Craig Conover’s footwear game.
The Summer House cast member made the admission during the latest episode of In Bed with Paige DeSorbo, her weekly Amazon Live series in which she has one-on-ones with celebrity guests. For the September 10 installment, Paige chopped it up with Bravo superfan Matt Rogers, who wondered if Paige and her Southern Charm boyfriend tuned in to each other’s shows.
Paige confirmed she did, in fact, keep up with Southern Charm — and did so for a very specific, on-brand reason.

“You want to know what I do? I show him outfits of where he could’ve improved,” Paige confessed during the stream.
Matt then asked the New Yorker to name “one simple fix” she made to Craig’s style over the past few years.
“I threw out all of his flip-flops,” Paige said. “Every single pair. I would just secretly be throwing them out and then one day he caught on. Because he was like, ‘Where are my flip-flops?’ I was like, ‘I have no idea. That’s crazy. You must have to wear sneakers now.’ So that’s what I was secretly doing for a year, throwing out all his flip-flops.”

Paige said Craig initially thought he was just “misplacing” his sandals and would ultimately go out and purchase new ones; however, the shoes would go “missing” so often that he decided to abandon the look altogether.
“And now he wears loafers when we go to any pool club…” she said, prompting Matt to laugh. “Sorry, I just realized how ridiculous that [sounds]. No, when we went on vacation with my family in Europe, he’s trying to go with flip-flops everywhere. I was, like, ‘I’ll murder you here. No. You’re not wearing flip-flops.'”
How Paige convinced Craig to switch up his travel style
It was just a few weeks ago when Paige revealed she had also improved her beau’s airport style. The longtime fashion influencer said she was really “frightened” to learn that Craig chose to wear jeans during his lengthy flights, so she began suggesting more comfortable options.
“When I first started dating Craig, I immediately thought that he was a serial killer because we would get on planes and he would be jeans,” she joked during an August 29 Amazon Live stream. “Because first of all, who fricking does that?”
She continued: “As of three months ago, I was like, ‘What if you just tried flying not in jeans and in normal pants, like a sweatpant?’” she recalled. “And he’s never gone back. And now he exclusively flies in a jogger or a sweatpant… Just changing the world one serial killer at a time.”
