Omarosa Manigault Tried to Stage a Bridal Photo Shoot at the White House ... and It Didn't Go So Well
The political aide brought 39 of her closest pals to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue — allegedly without warning aides.
Omarosa Manigault doesn't travel light. The newly-married reality TV star — who is the director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison for the Trump administration — decided to pop by the White House before her April 8 wedding reception at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. And she brought 39 members of her wedding party along for the ride.
Beaming in her lacy white gown, the bride reportedly wanted to use 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue as a backdrop for her bridal photo shoot. There was just one problem: Manigault might have forgotten to give officials and aides a heads-up about her plans for snapping photos in the tightly-controlled West Wing and in the Rose Garden.
Though it's not clear whether Manigault had been granted permission for the photo shoot in advance, White House staffers were apparently caught by surprise when the bride and her entourage arrived on the big day. And the former Apprentice star was ultimately banned from posting the images on any of her social media networks.
Since then, Manigault has made both her Twitter and Instagram accounts private. However, those who love a good wedding photo will be happy to know that other social media users did post images from the massive celebration. Here's a peek inside the buzzy nuptials, which featured a seven-tier cake, pink-and-white flowers, and plenty of top-shelf champagne.
When she celebrates, she goes big!
