Here's the Exact Moment That Made Nene Walk out on Kandi and Cynthia's Greek Tragedy Performance
"At that point, I was over it," The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member said.
In a last-ditch effort to help broker peace between Nene Leakes and Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey decided to portray the aforementioned Georgia Peaches in a little performance during the last night of The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies' trip to Greece in the March 22 episode. Unfortunately, no one got to see this sketch because Nene decided to go to the restroom, aka retire to her room for the night, before the metaphorical curtain could rise.
"We're thinking this is gonna be hilarious," Cynthia said of her and Kandi's performance during The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 After Show, which you can view, above. "Kenya was a great sport about it. Nene on the other hand, not so much."
Porsha Williams said she was also expecting a fun moment that all of the RHOA ladies could enjoy. "I don't think it would have been that bad. I know the girls didn't, they didn't mean it to be bad, they really didn't. They meant it to be something fun," she explained during the After Show. "But Nene's also looking at Cynthia and Kandi like you two are Kenya's best friends, so I don't want y'all to do anything. I guess in Nene's mind she had tried so many times with Kenya that she didn't want to have anything to do with it."
Even though things had gotten heated between the two just the night before, Nene said she went into it willing to move on with Kenya, a feeling she said wasn't reciprocated. "The night before was a bad night. We were drinking, we were cursing each other out, but still, I still was like, let me put that behind me. 'Hi, Kenya. You look beautiful,'" Nene said in the After Show before implying that Kenya was not open to her gesture of kindness. "No. What do you want me to do?"
Nene said that she was then no longer willing "to do s--t with Kenya." "At that point, I was over it. What I can tell you for sure is I extended many olive branches to her, and I did do that, OK? And she did not want to receive anything from me," she shared. "So I was not interested in sitting there listening to Kandi and Cynthia, who are her friends, who are supporting her, try to act out anything when it comes down to it. I was like, I am not here for it. Bye-bye."
But Kenya offered another theory in the After Show as to why Nene walked out that night. "I think Nene is just jealous of everything that deals with me. I don't know why, you have to ask her," Kenya said. "She is just very threatened by me. She's threatened by my relationships with the other girls."
