Neil Patrick Harris Is Coming to 'Actors Studio'
Bravo is celebrating the Oscars with an intimate sit-down with this year's host.
Inside the Actors Studio is rolling out the carpet for Neil Patrick Harris, who will be sitting down for a one-on-one craft talk with host James Lipton premiering on Thursday, February 12th at 8 PM. On February 22nd, Harris will complete his trifecta of awards show hosting duties when he hosts the Academy Awards, after previous acclaimed gigs hosting both the Emmys and the Tonys.
“We have a history of celebrating the Academy Awards on Inside the Actors Studio," James Lipton said. "This year we have the Oscar host himself, Neil Patrick Harris, making magic, literally and figuratively, on our stage.”
The Tony and Emmy Award-winning Harris will spend the episode divulging his secret to reinventing himself after his breakout role in Doogie Houser, M.D., explaining what led to his unforgettable role in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, and revealing how he prepared for his remarkable performance as the lead in Broadway’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He will also share personal details of his wedding and life with husband David Burtka, as well as showcase his much-acclaimed singing talents.
