Morning After: Kathy Storms the Kiddie Pageant Circuit
Miss last night's Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List? Find out what Kathy taught 4-year-old pageant princesses.
Trying to impress your mother? We're not sure that Kathy Griffin's behavior is the best example.
Last night on Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, Kathy dragged Maggie from a kiddie pageant to her own home construction site, both events leaving her terribly horrified. But what's a mom to do when her daughter is a) prissy walking around in a swim suit and b) tearing the (ever popular at parties) bar out of the house?
It seems the only way to proceed is to grab that white wine and grin. That is, while you're in the privacy of a demolition zone. (If you find yourself at a pageant surrounded by babies in sparkly headbands, it's best to just grin.) There is something extremely disturbing about the little babes in full face make-up and a spray tan, but as Kathy said, it's all about teaching the kids to love those awards.
And Kathy made sure to bring her Emmy's to the pageant to display on the judges table. Kathy Griffin! Every little girl's role model!
After consulting with some pro 4-year-old pageant princesses, Kathy took the stage, ready to impress. We never did get to see her official score, but after nailing the Miss America turn and her cupcake hands (yes, cupcake hands), she definitely took the crown for her most D-List moment to date.
