What Does Molly Shannon Think of Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker's Beef?
Parker's Divorce co-star is taking sides on the feud that crushed Sex and the City fans' dreams.
When actress Molly Shannon appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on October 4, she was asked a question about her Divorce co-star Sarah Jessica Parker. After all, Sex and the City fans have endless curiosity about the public hostility coming at Parker from Kim Cattrall, and don't we all just want answers?
As a refresher, Cattrall has made some controversial comments about her SATC co-stars, and about SJP in particular, after she shared that she's not up for a third SATC movie. She claimed she was "never friends" with the other women on the iconic HBO show and later posted a scathing message on social media calling Parker "cruel" after Parker reached out to her following the death of Cattrall's brother.
A WWHL called asked, "What was going through your mind when Kim Cattrall started a feud with your Divorce co-star Sarah Jessica Parker?"
Shannon gave a carefully considered response to the question, but in the end came down on the side of her friend SJP. "I don't think that's the way to handle something," she said. "I think if you have something like that [that's] personal, you should deal with it personally. And Sarah Jessica's just the greatest, so I didn't like it."
