Yes, Luis D. Ortiz Loves Sharing His Birthday with His "Best Friend" AKA His Twin Brother
The #MDLNY agent opens up about having to celebrate alongside Daniel every November 13.
Sharing a birthday with a sibling may not be everyone's cup of tea, but Million Dollar Listing New York agent Luis D. Ortiz admits that celebrating with his twin brother, Daniel, is actually "amazing." "My best friend and I had something to look forward to at the same time," he tells The Daily Dish. "More than [it being] just our birthdays, it was our best friend's birthday."
This November 13 marks the duo's big 2-9, and Luis already has an idea of how he and his brother, who also lives in NYC, will be celebrating their last year in their 20s. "Last year we had a 350 guest birthday party. This year we are having a 30 person dinner. Too much madness on the big parties," he teased. And if you're wondering what to get the real estate mogul, the man who has everything is still looking for a girlfriend. No word on if Daniel is also single, but growing up the Ortiz boys usually got the same gifts. "Except when it was video games," Luis shared. "I used to get the sports and fighting games. He used to get the clues and adventure shooting games."

Looking back on their joint birthdays over the years, Luis recalled one celebration that stuck with him. "When I turned 23 my twin brother did a surprise birthday party for me. Imagine that. On his own birthday," he said. "He carefully selected the people that were important part to my year 22, regardless of them knowing each other or not. He wanted me to be surrounded by those who contribute to my life that year. That became my theme for every coming birthday."

If a recent Instagram video of Luis, Daniel and their parents at a Marc Anthony concert is any indication, just because they share a birthday (and those baby blues) doesn't mean they share similar personalities. You see, while Luis spent the concert on his feet, Daniel was busy on his phone. "We are exact opposites but with the same hearts," Luis said. "He's the best person that exists. He's smart, extremely good looking, passionate, and he cares very much about others."
With another year about to kick off, Luis has some big plans for 29. "As long as I keep moving forward at the pace I am going and I continue to evolve as a person and in business I will be happy," he said.

Oh, and here's a little last-minute birthday advice from Ramona (in case Luis and Daniel need help celebrating).
