Michael Lorber's Link to Donald Trump

NeNe Leakes and Teresa Giudice aren't the only Bravolebrities to have water cooler conversations with Donald Trump. "I interned for Trump while going to law school," Million Dollar Listing New York's Michael Lorber tells Reality TV Magazine. "It was great working for him! He was one of my idols growing up, and he is the best at branding and producing high-quality work."

So, how did a law school intern end up selling swanky Manhattan pads? You know, besides his family connection? (Papa Howard Lorber is the chairman of mega real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman.) "I was always passionate about real estate, but I wanted to learn as much as possible and diversify myself. I actually use knowledge from my law degree every day in real estate," M says. Plus, he can whip out some extensive facts about marble and moldings, no?

Nowadays, Michael's traded Trump for a new boss who's arguably harder to please – his dad. "I do want to succeed and make him proud, not only as my dad but as my boss!" the real estate heir adds. "But there might a misperception that I get most of my business from him—I don't. He has a lot of people working for him and with him."
