Mia Thornton Splits from Inc and Reunites with Estranged Husband Gordon: "New Beginnings"
RHOP's Mia Thornton posted a selfie with estranged husband Gordon Thornton after confirming her split from Inc.
Mia Thornton and her boyfriend, Incognito aka Inc, have broken up.
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member confirmed the split news on January 1, which is exactly one year after she went public with the Atlanta-based radio host.
"Inc is my best friend and perfect in so many ways, but I have decided to focus on my children and maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship with their father," Mia said in a statement to The Shade Room, referring to her estranged husband, Gordon Thornton, and their children, Jeremiah and Juliana "JuJu" Thornton (Mia also has a son named Joshua from a previous relationship).

Mia followed up the announcement about her split from Inc by posting a selfie with Gordon. In the caption, she seemed to hint at a better co-parenting relationship with her estranged spouse.
"NEW Year. New Beginnings," she captioned the cozy picture. "Cheers to living life to the fullest."
Mia also added hashtags for "mom and dad" and "NYE 2025" to round out her post.
She further got her followers talking when she later shared an Instagram Story of her wearing a diamond ring on that finger. "I'm so extremely grateful for 2024," she wrote in the caption of her photo, which appeared on her Instagram Stories on January 1. "Can't wait to see what God has planned for 2025."
Why did Mia Thornton and Inc break up?
Though Mia's tagline for Season 9 indicated that "Inc is permanent," the pair's romance wasn't built to last.
As Mia said in her statement to The Shade Room, she is taking some time to focus on her family. Mia previously confirmed her separation from Gordon back in September 2023.

Mia's romance with Inc, who she first dated in high school, and her complicated co-parenting dynamic with Gordon, have both been featured on RHOP Season 9.
During an exclusive chat with The Daily Dish in November 2024, Mia said that things had improved with Gordon after a difficult season (Gordon has been candid about his battle with Bipolar 1).
"You know, co-parenting is co-parenting," she joked. "It has its ups, it has its downs, but I am fortunate that I do have someone to co-parent with. Gordon is a great father, and he is present."
"It’s been going well," she continued about co-parenting. "Like Gordon definitely has gotten with the program, I would say. He wants to be a part of the kids' lives and this is his last set of kids. He has a first set and then now he has this last set. And he doesn’t want to miss a beat when it comes to them. I think sometimes when you realize that when you put your own personal wants and needs aside, you really just focus on the children. And it took him a while to get there, but I think that he’s arrived."
