Mia Thornton's Husband Gordon Admits He "Can Be a Little Extra"

The Real Housewives of Potomac couples are getting ready for what should be an unforgettable trip. However, there's a lot going on for Mia Thornton before she even gets there, as we're learning in Bravo Insider's exclusive first look at the next episode airing Sunday, October 3 at 8/7c.

First of all, her kids aren't looking forward to their mom going away for a few days. It's also the first time Mia's mom, whom she has been working on rebuilding her relationship with this season, will be watching her children for consecutive days.

And then there's Mia's husband, Gordon. Spending a few days with several other couples isn't exactly what Gordon had in mind for his and Mia's first vacation since before the pandemic. "My ideal trip is not for me to go off with a bunch of people, half of them I don't know," Gordon tells Mia in the above clip. "So am I excited about going? No. Am I going to support you? Absolutely."

Mia elaborates on why Gordon isn't a fan of couples' trips in an interview in the video. The RHOP hubby also adds, "You know me. When I get out, I can be a little extra."

Judging from the preview of the next episode of RHOP, we think we have an idea of what Gordon means. Still, Mia encourages Gordon to "be excited" and to "have fun," which he says he's going to do while on the vacay.

But there is one other thing that might bring down the fun factor of the couples' trip just a little: the fact that Mia and Candiace Dillard Bassett got into some major drama at Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon's Reasonably Shady party in the September 26 episode.
