Melissa King Reveals Who She Still Keeps in Touch with From Top Chef
The Top Chef alum remains in contact with "a good amount of people" from the show.
Since her history-making win on Season 17 of Top Chef, Melissa King has maintained close ties to both the show and other former contestants. While appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Season 17 winner revealed that she keeps touch with several other Top Chef alums.
During the March 10 episode, Melissa reveals that she stayed in contact with a “good amount of people” from the show. “Brooke Williamson, I actually just saw not too long ago. We were cooking out in Montana,” she told host Andy Cohen.
The chef went on to add that she also keeps in touch with fellow alums, Stephanie Cmar and Bryan Voltaggio. “I’m kind of neutral, I’m friends with everyone,” she joked.
In addition to remaining friendly with other past cheftastants from the culinary competition, Melissa will play an important role in the upcoming 18th season of the show. She, along with several other Top Chef winners and fan favorites, will make up an elite rotating judging and dining panel.
In October, Melissa opened up about what life was like on the other side of the judges table. “The beautiful smiles that come out when you’re a @bravotopchef judge, not a contestant,” she captioned a photo of herself enjoying some time outdoors with fellow judging panelists, Kwame Onwuachi, Carrie Baird, and Amar Santana.
