Go Inside Melissa and Joe Gorga's Treat-Filled Christmas & Secret Santa Exchange
The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga is keeping her super fun holiday traditions alive this year.
Melissa Gorga is very big on keeping the Christmas holiday traditions alive. The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member and her husband, Joe Gorga, love eating good food, having their family around, and partaking in fun, which is exactly what they did on Christmas evening this year.
Luckily, Melissa documented it all on Instagram — from their sweets-filled feast, to their fun-filled secret Santa games. The mom of three first took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday night, where she showed off her food spread, involving shrimp cocktail and a massive vegetable tray. She then explained the rules for their secret Santa game, done with her family.
"OK guys, if you know, you know," she said with a glass of wine in her hand, posted to her Story. "Today's the day that we do our secret Santa, and we do a little rap and a little rhyme and we roast each other so, um, hopefully I win this year. I haven't won yet."
Melissa then proceeded to film her family's super fun "roasts" of each other, insulting one another before handing out the present to the recipient. Each participant was judged on how well they introduce the gift, resulting in one winner for the year.
Unfortunately, Melissa only got the title of runner up this year, while her cousin won over her. But she didn't seem too phased by this at all.
Melissa Gorga's 2024 Christmas desserts
Leave it to the Sprinkle by MG founder to have the most fabulous desserts at her fabulous Christmas celebration. Melissa took to her Instagram Story on Christmas where she showed off the sweet spread, including the cutest cupcakes topped with pink frosting and very festive sprinkles.
The guests also feasted on chocolates topped with crushed up peppermints. "This is chocolate," Melissa explained in a video posted to her Instagram Story, showing off her teeth marks on the sweet dessert. "I'm just biting into the chocolate and the peppermint. Wow. Pretty good."
And of course, there were Sprinkle by MG cookies on display at the celebration.
During a Dec. 18 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Melissa explained why she decided to launch her cookie business this year. "Timing is everything, Andy," she said. "Timing is everything. It is the best timing. Everything happens for a reason, I really believe in that."
"I'm so happy that SprinklebyMG.com is gonna be in everyone's home for Christmas," she continued. "I'm very excited, thank you."
Melissa Gorga's 2024 family Christmas photo
Amidst all of the chaos and fun, Melissa also focused on the true reason for the season — spending time with her husband and their three children: daughter, Antonia Gorga, and sons, Joey and Gino Gorga. Melissa took to her Instagram feed on Christmas day, where she posted a photo of the family of five, in their Christmas pajamas, gathered around the fireplace, surrounded by wrapping paper on the floor.
"Easy like Christmas Morning Merry Christmas from The Gorga's," she wrote in the caption of the post.
