Excuse Us?! Meghan Markle's Ex-Husband Is Reportedly Engaged
Trevor Engelson's proposal took place just weeks after the former Suits star wed Prince Harry.
Love is in the air for Meghan Markle's ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, who reportedly got engaged last Friday, according to the Mail on Sunday, via PEOPLE. According to the report, the film producer and talent agent asked Tracey Kurland, a nutritionist, to marry him in Napa Valley just weeks after Meghan and Prince Harry wed in England. He allegedly posted about it on his Instagram page, which is set to private, with a photo captioned, “Luckiest guy I know! Get ready to party.”
Trevor and Meghan married in September 2011 and the union lasted for two years. It was around that time that Meghan began work on Suits and the show's popularity began to take off. They separated in the summer of 2013, and their divorce was official 12 months later.
In an interesting twist, Trevor seems to have been inspired by Meghan. Last fall, it was reported by Deadline that he's working on a series with the following description: “Divorce is hard. Sharing custody is harder. Sharing custody with the British Royal family when your wife marries a prince, in the unforgiving spotlight of London’s tabloid media, is next level.” The show is reportedly "fictional" and the characters are not based on Meghan and Trevor, who is currently a producer on Snowfall.
Umm, interesting.
