Meghan King Edmonds Officially Drops Jim's Last Name on Instagram
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is getting a fresh start following her split from Jim Edmonds.
Meghan King Edmonds' Instagram is looking a little different these days.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum has officially dropped Edmonds, the last name of her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, from her Instagram handle, which is now just @meghanking, as well as her bio, which also lists her name as Meghan King.
Meghan confirmed the change in a post in her Instagram Story, pointing out her updated handle. "Please allow me to reintroduce myself," Meghan wrote in the post.
"Damn it feels good to be back on my throne," she added in her Instagram Story, referring to her surname prior to her marriage to Jim, King.
Meghan and Jim's marriage came to an end last October when they separated after five years of marriage. They share three children: daughter Aspen, who turns 4 in November, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, who turned 2 in June.
Though the former spouses have faced some challenges as they go through the process of divorce in the public eye, they both seem to be happy in their new relationships. Jim introduced his new girlfriend, Kortnie O'Connor, on Instagram in April. Meghan confirmed her new relationship with Christian Schauf in May.
