Bravo fans met Mauricio Umansky in Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as Kyle Richards’ husband. Over the next 12 seasons, fans would continue to learn about Mauricio as a top realtor and CEO of The Agency, as well a devoted father to Sophia, Alexia, and Portia Umansky and stepfather to Farrah Brittany.
However, in Season 13 of RHOBH, fans were made privy to some of the bigger hurdles in Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage. Since filming, Kyle and Mauricio have confirmed that they separated in the summer of 2023 — though they have added that they continue to share their home and are working on their marriage.

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s Relationship
After 27 years of marriage, Kyle and Mauricio confirmed that they separated in the summer of 2023. Kyle discussed the situation at BravoCon in October 2023.
"We love each other very much, and we are family no matter what happens, and we have a very strong family unit,” she said during the Las Vegas event’s “Livin’ in Beverly Hills” panel, which was moderated by Zuri Hall. "We're just trying to figure it out. We know that we love each other."
Mauricio shared his take during the Nov. 16 episode of the Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast. “Everyone wants to know what’s going on with my marriage — like, I do too, you know, we’re normal people," he said. "We’re normal human beings going through a struggle, we’re going through issues like everybody else does."
"There’s no playbook for how to deal with it," Mauricio continued. "We’re humans, and it doesn’t change on a daily basis. If we're separated that means we're giving each other time to allow things to happen.”
Who are Mauricio Umansky’s daughters?
Kyle and Mauricio share three daughters: Alexia Umansky, who was born in 1996; Sophia Umansky, who was born in 2000; and Portia Umansky, who was born in 2008. Mauricio is also a stepfather to Farrah Brittany, who is Kyle’s daughter from a previous marriage.
Farrah and Alexia currently work with Mauricio at The Agency. They also appeared together on the series Buying Beverly Hills.

"I started the fad of oversized T-shirts on girls wearing leggings," Mauricio said of his company in an August 2015 interview with Worth. Mauricio said his company "did quite well" — so much so that he was able to sell it when he was 26 years old.
While figuring out his next career move, Mauricio realized he could combine his love of sales and architecture to pursue a career in real estate. Soon, he got a job at the luxury real estate firm Hilton & Hyland, which was co-founded by his brother-in-law Rick Hilton.
Kyle's ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie gave Mauricio his first sale with his $7.5 million property in Brentwood, California, according to Worth. Mauricio's clientele would only get much more star-studded after that, boasting names such as Lady Gaga, Michael Jordan, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
He managed to become one of the country’s highest-producing realtors before opening his boutique brokerage, The Agency, in 2011.

Mauricio was born and raised in Mexico until he was six years old and moved to the United States. His family is also Greek and Russian.
Mauricio is Jewish (check out his adorable Bar Mitzvah photo!), and Kyle converted to Judaism before the two got married. Their daughters also speak Spanish.

Mauricio was paired with dancing pro Emma Slater, but the two were eliminated in Week 6 of the competition. He dedicated his final Halloween-themed performance to his stepdaughter Farrah, whose birthday is on Halloween.
