Mauricio Umansky is closing out the month with a new look.
On Thursday, January 30, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband took to Instagram to show off his latest haircut. And, no, this wasn’t a DIY chop like the one from 2020. This time around, he headed to Ferit Salon in Beverly Hills, where he received a subtle but sharp cut from the eponymous owner.
The Instagram Story showed Mauricio sitting in the barber chair while Ferit Turac put the final touches on his ‘do. The real estate mogul didn’t stray too far from his typical look, as he opted for a classic crew cut with texturing on the top.
Mauricio expands his real estate empire, The Agency
Mauricio made the change more than a month after he celebrated a year of major business wins. On December 18, Mauricio’s brokerage firm, The Agency, posted a blog outlining the company’s 2024 expansion, including the opening of 30 new offices and the launch of an art consultancy branch.
“2024 was one for the books,” the post read. “Together with our agents, staff and clients, we’ve achieved remarkable milestones, expanded our global footprint and continued to redefine the world of luxury real estate. Here’s a look back at the highlights that defined our year.”
Mauricio and Kyle Richards confirm their separation
In between his busy work schedule, Mauricio is navigating his marital split from RHOBH’s Kyle Richards. The pair announced their separation in the summer of 2023 after 27 years of marriage.
"In regards to the news that came out about us today... Any claims regarding divorcing are untrue," Kyle wrote in a July 3, 2023, Instagram. "However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone's part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative."
How are Mauricio and Kyle handling their split?
Although they’ve managed to maintain a healthy and supportive relationship since then, Kyle admittedly struggled with the transition, especially after Mauricio moved out of their Encino home and into a Los Angeles condo.
Fans will get a closer look at Kyle and Mauricio’s new dynamic in RHOBH Season 14, Episode 10 (February 4), when their discussions about home life caused Kyle to become emotional.
“How is it living at the house with the girls?” Mauricio asked Kyle in the episode sneak peek.
“I mean, it’s quiet sometimes, you know?” Kyle responded. “You’re in a new place and it feels new and different. And it’s like, I’m in our home. I’m there with, like, you know … I’m in the place where everybody was. It just feels different.”
Kyle began to cry, prompting Mauricio to give his estranged wife a tight hug.
“Sorry,” Kyle said before wiping her tears.
“It’s OK,” Mauricio responded.
