A big congrats goes out to Millionaire Matchmaker star David Cruz. He and his boyfriend of nearly four years, Jonathan, are officially engaged!
David shared the news on his blog Finding Cupid, where he revealed the details of the proposal, which took place last weekend.
Their day included a drive down L.A.'s famed Pacific Coast Highway and a decadent meal at Geoffrey's in Malibu. The couple then headed to the Getty Villa, where Jonathan gifted David with a book that cleverly disguised a bracelet from Tiffany & Co., which just so happened to have the question "Marry Me?" inscribed on it.
"Once I realized what was happening, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!" he recalled. David, obviously, said "yes." So why a bracelet and not a ring? "It was at that point he said, 'I figured you wanted a specific ring, so I thought we could go get it together.' (Insert excitement about ring shopping)."
And cue a few "awwws" from the rest of us!
"After a very emotional kissing and hugging session, we watched the sunset and called all our friends and family. We then left the Villa and headed back to West Hollywood to celebrate with our friends!" he said of what happened after the romantic way Jon popped the question.
But don't expect a wedding anytime soon. "We haven't really planned out much just yet, but I am sure as we both make them, I will let you all know via this blog," he added. "So stay tuned.... my adventures in love has just reached an exciting new stage in my life. I can't wait to share it all with you."
