Mary Cosby Reveals How Her Son Robert Cosby Jr. Is Doing After Emotional RHOSLC Conversation
RHOSLC's Mary Cosby shared that her son went to rehab following their chat.
After having an emotional conversation with her son Robert Cosby Jr, on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 11, Mary Cosby is sharing a heartwarming update on how he's doing.
Mary appeared on the December 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and she revealed that her son "is doing so good" these days.
"I am so proud of him. So proud of him," Mary told host Andy Cohen on the episode, which you can check out by watching the video at the top of this post. "He did go to rehab. He stayed for a month; he completed it. He did an excellent job. He came out a new person. He did. He came out a new person."
She also opened up about why she wanted to talk to Robert Jr. about his issues on camera. "You know, it wasn't planned," she said about the moment. "We just came together, Robert and I, and I said, 'We're gonna do this because we're gonna help somebody.'"
She added, "He didn't plan what he was going to say, and I didn't plan what I was going to say. And I just said what I felt."
Andy wondered if Mary was "nervous" at all to talk to her husband Robert Cosby Sr. about what their son had shared. "No, I needed him," the snowflake holder said.

The mom of one also discussed how Robert Jr.'s wife, Alexiana (who has appeared on the show), is doing now as well. "She also went to rehab," Mary said on WWHL. "And you know what? She's still in there."
Mary Cosby reveals what's next for Robert Cosby Jr.
During a recent chat with Us Weekly, Mary reiterated that Robert is "steady" and "healthy," — and he's planning to move out of her home soon.
"He told me the other day, 'Mom, I'm going to get my own place,'" she shared with the outlet. "And I said, 'Well, how are you going to pay for it?' Because it was his birthday [recently], he goes, 'I'm going to use my birthday money.' I said, 'You don’t even get life babe.' He goes, 'No, it’s a down payment' and I [asked], 'The down payment on what?' He goes. 'A house.'"
