Quad Webb Shares an Update on Ari: “I Can’t Believe My Baby Is 3”
The Married to Medicine fashionista shares a sweet update on her niece and family.
Quad Webb has a sweet reason to celebrate, as she shared an update on her niece, Ari. As Married to Medicine fans will recall, several years ago Quad shared the news that she would play a “supportive role” in the child’s life. Well, now we’re getting some updates on little Ari straight from Aunt Quad.
“Wow, I can’t believe my baby is 3 years old today! I remember you falling to sleep laying on my chest,” Quad wrote about Ari alongside photos that show just how much big she is now. “You absolutely stole my heart from the moment I saw you; Ari you’re so special to me and I’m grateful to be [a part] of your life! I got you forever!!! Happy birthday chocolate drop.”
In an interview with Bravo Insider in 2021, a year after Ari came into her life, Quad spilled more about her life with the little one. “Baby Ari is super sweet, super amazing. Fun-loving kid, gorgeous. She brings so much joy to my family. We adore her,” she told Bravo Insider. “And we are right there whenever she needs us. And that’s never going to change. It’s just never going to change. I mean, she has been a blessing to us as much as we’ve been a blessing to her.”
In 2020, Quad first opened up about her niece, revealing just a bit about her role in Ari’s life at the time in a statement to The Daily Dish: “I am filling in the gaps, as there have been several rumors. I want to clarify that baby Ari is not my adopted daughter. My mom and I are in a supportive role for Ari, and while everyone is elated about the new addition to our family, she has a mother. We are the village here to support baby Ari. We appreciate your prayers and ask for privacy at this time.”
Quad has not only shared her journey with Ari with fans but also taken viewers inside her life helping to raise her nephew, Mason. Back in Season 9 of Married to Medicine, Quad opened up about having her nephew, Mason. live with her. “I’ve always been like a maunty for him,” she said in the Season 9 premiere. “My brother [Quentin], which is Mason’s father, died at the tender age of 34 from complications of the heart. He was just like my little baby. It gets tough sometimes.”
Recently, around the time of Ari’s special day, Quad shared a sweet Instagram message for another one of her relatives, proving just how much family pride she has. “Another birthday shoutout to one of my favorite people in the world. My niece @thelanyahmakali is everything! Intelligent, kind, beautiful, thoughtful, fashionable and God-fearing. You have defeated the odds and your strength is unwavering! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for you! You make us all so proud. I got you for life no matter what; auntie loves you!!!”
