Margaret Josephs has never been afraid to go big when it comes to her style. We first met her in Season 8 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey as a self-proclaimed "powerhouse in pigtails," and she regularly drapes herself in bright colors, prints, feathers, and sparkles. Also of note: Her taste for exceptionally large bling.
Margaret has quite the jewelry collection and there's no shortage of oversized pieces. The best of the best, of course, is the RHONJ cast member's massive engagement ring from her second marriage to Joe Benigno, and we can't stop noticing it.
Though she hasn't spoken much about the rock, there's lots to discuss as it's quite blinding.
What We Know About Margaret Josephs' Engagement Ring
In a word: It's stunning.
Judging from the photos, Margaret's sizable diamond is likely either a princess cut, a cushion cut, or an Asscher cut. The remarkable stone sits surrounded by a large, sparkling halo of smaller diamonds.
It's surrounded by three diamond-covered bands, meaning the stone is either set in a triple-shank band, or it could be part of a single band which she wears with two nested wedding rings to match.
How Margaret Josephs Styles Her Engagement Ring
Sometimes, Margaret lets the ring speak for itself as she wears it solo and paired with a pale pink manicure. Other times, she goes with something edgier, like a black manicure and a bevy of other baubles.
In the photo above, which is a close-up of Margaret's hands from the RHONJ Season 8 reunion, she paired her engagement ring with a moody square manicure and two other large gold rings on her right hand. One ring appears to be in the shape of a snake and the other looks like it could be a peacock feather with a blue jewel in the center.
Of course, the ring is a symbol of Margaret's love with her husband, Joe. Although she sometimes likes to poke fun at her man (like about how long it took him to finish construction on their house, for instance), her love for husband is clear as day.
"It takes a strong man to be with a strong woman," Margaret said during a 2021 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“He is the most gentle, confident, kind being. He has a twinkle in his eye. There’s not an ounce of darkness in his soul," Margaret gushed in 2023 during an exclusive BravoTV.com fan Q&A. “He never comes from a place of ‘no,’ he always comes from a place of ‘yes.' He makes me feel like I can do anything.”
