Margaret Josephs Reveals That She Adopted a "Little Angel"

Margaret Josephs has expanded her family! The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom has a son and three stepchildren, and now she also has a new dog!

"I’m so excited I found my little dream dog," Margaret told The Daily Dish. "Bella’s 5 years old and she’s trained and she’s a little angel."

"I came into Pet Value to adopt a dog because it’s so important to rescue dogs," she explained. "But I got super, super emotional, because I never come in to get a dog because I want every dog and I don't have time to take every dog."

Margaret and her husband, Joe Benigno, were looking for an addition to the family, but they needed a hypoallergenic pet, and hoped for a small dog.

"And then I saw little Bella and look at this little angel!" she exclaimed. "I was so crazy, crazy, crazy about her, and she fits with my family. I had to fill out the adoption paperwork and it was like, 'I’ve raised kids, so I am totally reliable.' I raised my own two kids, I raised someone else’s kids, so I was like, 'Okay, don't worry, I can take care of little Bella.' But it was so emotional because I wanted every dog, little Fiona, and all the other dogs that were here. They need homes and to be adopted."

Bella doesn't seem to be as camera-ready as her new mommy, but there's still time. 

"She's just a little little angel, even though she is a little camera shy," Margaret said. "Look how cute she is. Isn’t she the cutest thing in America? I just love her. She’s really a little doll so I’m just very, very, very happy. Do we look alike? People say pets and their owners look alike. She’ll be the power pooch in pigtails in no time."
