Make Your Outdoor Space Million Dollar Listing-Worthy
Homepolish has some tips to help spruce up your home ahead of the #MDLSF premiere.
Break out the sourdough bread: Million Dollar Listing San Francisco is officially upon us. The show premieres Wednesday (July 8), and given the beauty of the city, we can't wait to see all the drool-worthy listings agents Justin Fichelson, Andrew Greenwell, and Roh Habibi will soon be closing deals on.
This week's episode features a home in Noe Valley with enviable outdoor space. (It's the kind of place that makes it easy to see why Tony Bennett left his heart in San Francisco.) Hankering to recreate that kind of atmosphere? The folks at Homepolish have rounded up some tips to help spruce up your own outdoor spot, be it in San Fran or elsewhere. Check out our favorite tips below, and read more on homepolish.com.

1. As it turns out, flooring is just as important outside your home as it is inside. "There is a plethora of amazing outdoor rug options on the market these days," according to Homepolish. “Patios or decks as an extension of your living room really enhance outdoor areas. Rather than tossing some folding chairs you definitely don't care about outside, invest in some nice wooden pieces that can withstand the weather and make it cozy.”
- 2. Even in a city space, a garden can come to life. "Even if your outdoor area is small (or nonexistent!) you can bring nature home with potted plants in a little collected forest. Pack them together to emulate ground-planted foliage or create little vignettes around the garden space you do have.”
- 3. Which brings us to the next tip: "Just because you don't have a pool doesn't mean you can't have pool chairs! Keep the garden hose close by and even the cute towel has a practical use. Sometimes faking it is just as good."
