Madison opens up about her husband Brett Randle's cancer diagnosis
The career announcement came after Madison revealed her husband Brett Randle’s cancer diagnosis. The South Carolina native spoke about the battle in Southern Charm Season 10, Episode 2, saying doctors confirmed the disease in late 2023, around the time of their first wedding anniversary.
“Unfortunately, Brett was diagnosed with thyroid cancer toward the end of last year,” she said in an episode interview. “I thought, like, how? Like, I’m finally happy. I mean, it’s just scary.”
Although doctors successfully removed the cancer, Madison said Brett was still having throat discomfort.

“I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for checking on Brett,” she wrote in a Story. “Your messages and kindness mean so much to us and have not gone unnoticed.
“It’s been a challenging year for our family, but we’re taking it one day at a time and doing our best to navigate through it,” Madison continued. “Brett is getting stronger every day, and we’re so grateful for all the love and support. We love y’all — and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
